Member, Community Leadership Board
2021 – Present
I joined the Community Leadership Board for the Heartland region of the American Diabetes Association in 2021. I currently sit on the Youth & Family focus group. I also lead a Step Out Walk team to raise money for diabetes advocacy.
The First Drop Foundation
Founder / Executive Director
2018 – 2021
In 2018 I founded the First Drop Foundation with a mission of helping to improve the lives of newly diagnosed individuals with Type 1 diabetes and their families. In 2021, I chose to redirect my efforts through work with the American Diabetes Association and dissolved First Drop.

I wrote blog articles and managed the blog section for Suspended Coffees, an organization with the mission to bring communities together in hope, to inspire and empower people to change lives, and to restore faith in humanity.

Stage Crew

I volunteered for the stage crew at the Indianapolis Civic Theatre for productions of Singin’ in the Rain and The Wizard of Oz.
