Call Me Doctor: We Earned It!
Call Me Doctor is an anthology compiled by Dr. Shamon Allen. The stories in this book are written by 13 different authors who completed their doctorate during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chapter 7 is my own story of the obstacles that I had to overcome during my doctoral program.
Not only was I a member of the team of authors featured in this book, I was able to design the cover and build the websites and social media pages for the project.

I was interviewed for this article published to the T1D Exchange blog. The article discussed considerations for individuals with Type 1 diabetes when considering what insurance coverage to choose. My dissertation was also discussed in the article as it was still in process at the time.
